The Scart is a twenty one pin connector plug developed
by the European community and found on the back of most European
televisions and video players.
Each pin carries a specific signal and can be configured
to carry and accept Composite, RGB and SVHS picture signals together
with stereo audio signals.
Most Scart cables are supplied fully wired
but research has shown that to obtain the optimum performance it
is best to configure the wiring to suit the application.
